Dillon’s Upcoming Community Events  

Wednesday, March 27th- UMW Glass Club Open House- The UMW Glass Club invites the community to an open house on Wednesday, March 27th, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, in the UMW Emerick Art Studio located on the corner of Poindexter and Atlantic Street. The Open House will feature a live hot shop demonstration from Glass Club students as they construct glass mushrooms to be hidden treasures for this year’s Annual Beaverhead Treasure Hunt. Thursday, March 28th- Business After Hours Celebrates Rollie Miller- The Chamber’s after hours mixer on Thursday, March 28th, will celebrate Rollie Miller’s retirement from Vigilante Electric Cooperative. The event, which runs from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, will be held at the VEC main office at 225 E. Bannack St. Engine 18 will prepare the refreshments for the Rollie send-off party. 

UMW Colt Challenge & Sale- March 29th & March 30th- The Annual Colt Challenge and Sale, hosted by the University of Montana Western and the Montana Center for Horsemanship, will take place March 29-30, at the Montana Center for Horsemanship in Dillon. Saturday, March 30th- JC Easter Egg Hunt- The annual Dillon Jaycee Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Vigilante Park this Saturday starting at 10:00am. First timers are warned to show up early. The hunt starts at 10:00am sharp and in less than two minutes the grounds are picked clean of treats.

Saturday, March 30th The Missoula Children’s Theatre Production of “Hercules” featuring local youth. Performances at 2:30 and 6:30 pm. Sponsored by Powell County Museum and Arts Foundation.  Tickets available at the Old Montana Prison and at the door.

Thursday, April 11th at 7:30 pm – “Stringfever” – a band from England live in concert

Season tickets for the 2023-2024 “Live! At the Rialto” Concert Series are now on sale for $100.  Five events for the price of four! First Concert is September 19th.
