Monday, February 17th- Presidents’ Day- All Pioneer Federal branches will be closed in observance of Presidents’ Day.

Wednesday, February 19th- “On The Rocks” Series to Host Brian Wheeler- The University of Montana Western Environmental Sciences Department will host Brian Wheeler as part of the “On the Rocks” lecture series. Wheeler will present “Beneath the Surface: Water Quality Monitoring on the Big Hole” on Wednesday, February 19th, from 4-5pm in UMW’s Lucy Carson Library. Wheeler is the Executive Director of the Big Hole River Foundation (BHRF), working to develop and refine its Water Quality Monitoring Program. Thursday, February 20th- Pioneer Mountain Talk- The Beaverhead County Museum will host a presentation, “Exploring Montana’s Pioneer Mountains”, by author Leroy Friel on Thursday, February 20th in the Old Depot Theater, 125 S. Montana St. Doors open at 6:00pm, the program begins at 6:30pm. Admission is free; a raffle and refreshments will be provided.
