Dillon’s Upcoming Community Events  

Wednesday, April 9th- Maddock Award Winners Honored- The University of Montana Western will honor John and Phyllis Erb, Barb Malesich, and Shane Puyear as recipients of the 2025 Dr. Jane Helm Maddock Service Award for their contributions to UMW and the Dillon community. An awards dinner and ceremony to honor the receipients will be held Wednesday, April 9, in the Lewis and Clark Room of Mathews Hall at the University of Montana Western. Tickets for the Dr. Jane Helm Maddock Service Awards Dinner can be purchased by contacting Kelly Allen at the UMW Foundation Office at (406) 683-7306 by April 3.

Friday, April 11th- Knights Set Lenten Fish Fry- The Dillon Knights of Columbus will prepare and serve Lenten Fish Fry buffets — April 11, at the St Rose Family Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Proceeds will be donated to youth and family support ministries.

Wednesday, April 16th- UMW Career Fair- The University of Montana Western Career Services Office invites all interested and returning employers, as well as UMW students, to the 2025 Career Fair. The event will take place on April 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the UMW Keltz Arena.

Friday, April 25th- Bulldog Paniolo Luau- The Bulldog Paniolo Luau will begin at the Keltz Arena at 5 p.m. on April 25. The evening includes a dinner and a show from the Polynesian Club.

Saturday, April 26th- Night of Stars Education Hall of Fame Ceremony- The 12th annual UMW Night of Stars Education Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is set for April 26 at UMW’s Lewis & Clark Room in Mathews Hall. This year’s inductees are Eileen Lane Haugen, Jimi Lunak Champ, Ken Carver, and Sara Decker.
